Privacy Policy
Effective: April 2026
Fleeting is a personal capture tool for Notion. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
What Fleeting collects
Fleeting does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on its own servers. There are no Fleeting servers.
The app handles the following data entirely on your device:
- Your Notion OAuth token — stored in the iOS Keychain (Secure Enclave). Never sent anywhere except Notion's API.
- Capture content — text and URLs you type or share into the app. Stored locally in an encrypted SQLite database until successfully synced to Notion, then deleted.
- Sync queue status — timestamps and delivery status of captures. Stored locally only.
What Fleeting sends to Notion
When you capture something, Fleeting sends only the content of that capture to the Notion page or database you configured. No metadata, device identifiers, or usage data is included.
Your interaction with Notion is governed by Notion's Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
Fleeting uses no analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or third-party SDKs. The only external service the app communicates with is the Notion API (api.notion.com). Authorization is performed via Notion's official OAuth 2.0 flow; the redirect URI fleeting.to/oauth/callback immediately forwards your authorization code to the app on your device via a custom URL scheme and retains no data.
Data stored on your device
All app data is stored locally in the iOS app container. It is included in iCloud Backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled. You can delete all app data by deleting the Fleeting app from your device.
Children
Fleeting is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the effective date above will be updated. The latest version is always at this URL.
